Tuttosport: AC Milan close deal for vice-Kessie

After Strinic and Pepe Reina, AC Milan have reached an agreement with another soon-to-be free agent. Ki Sung-Yong will join the Rossoneri at the end of the season on a free transfer.

29 Year old midfielder Ki Sung-Yong, whose contract with Swansea expires on June 30 will join the Rossoneri on a free transfer. The South Korean captain is a very versatile player, who can cover all the roles in midfield, even though he prefers to play as central midfielder. He does not come to Milanello to be a regular starter, but he could be a valid alternative to Franck Kessie.

Tuttosport reports this morning that Massimiliano Mirabelli knows Ki very well because the two worked together in 2013-14 season while at Sunderland. The AC Milan sports director knows very well what the qualities of the Korean star are and on a free transfer he represents an excellent opportunity for the red and black club. At the same time Mirabelli continues his search for another midfielder who, unlike Ki, would join the Rossoneri to be a first minute starter.
