UEFA: commission split on Milan decision

While UEFA decided not to conclude a Voluntary Agreement with AC Milan apparently that ruling was not unanimous with many members having a different opinion.

UEFA decided to reject the Voluntary Agreement request presented by AC Milan. A decision that was expected from the rossoneri considering Fassone’s moderate optimism but not all members of the investigatory chamber of club financial control body agreed. According to Tuttosport, there have been discussions within the committee, with some members who were in favor of saying yes to the rossoneri.

Real pity that this section of commissioners who favored the red and blacks weren’t in majority. However that fact that there was a difference of opinions in the commission is still a good sign for the rossoneri, demonstrating that the sanctions of the Settlement Agreement will not be as harsh as somebody expected initially.
