Villarreal make final decision on Bacca

At the end of the season Carlos Bacca will return at AC Milan with Villarreal who have opted against a permanent move for the Colombian striker.

Last summer AC Milan loaned the Colombian striker with the right to make the move permanent at the end of the season. The total cost of the operation was 18 million euros, 15.5 to be paid at the end of this season, and 2.5 for his loan. Now Villarreal have decided not to exercise their right and the striker will return at AC Milan reports Marca.

Bacca this season has scored 12 goals in total (less than Cutrone who has scored 15), 9 in La Liga, 2 in Europa League and 1 in Coppa del Re. The Colombian striker scores every 206 minutes. Decent numbers for a centre forward who has not been a regular starter this season but apparently not satisfactory enough for the Spanish club. Villarreal have been having a disappointing season so far and the club wants to make certain changes for next season, mainly in the attacking department.
