Yonghong Li-UEFA meeting in Nyon

Spring is coming and for AC Milan it will be a very delicate period with regards to corporate and especially financial destiny. President Yonghong Li himself will attend a meeting with UEFA in Nyon.

In particular, UEFA will have to assess the possible inclusion of the Rossoneri club in the Settlement Agreement regime, meaning in the financial system that will allow Milan to participate in European competitions with a multi-year financial plan. However, this is not without penalties and restrictions due to the lack of virtuous management over the past few years.

After the rejection of the Voluntary Agreement, the leaders of Nyon want to clarify before accepting AC Milan within the aforementioned control regime. This is why, as reported today by Il Corriere dello Sport, president Yonghong Li will be directly questioned. The Chinese businessman will probably have to clarify some issues concerning his reliability.

Mister Li will therefore be summoned between March and April to answer many questions from UEFA’s committee, with the hope that his assurances will be sufficient to accept Milan in the Settlement Agreement regime with minimal penalizing conditions.
