AC Milan vs Bologna, probable lineups

AC Milan host Bologna at San Siro tomorrow. The Rossoneri need to respond to Napoli who are tied in the standings.

Serie A returns after a two-week break. The Rossoneri will try to defend their leader status against their former coach Sinisa Mihajlovic. AC Milan will host Bologna at San Siro with coach Stefano Pioli expected to deploy the same starting eleven seen in recent matches.

Pierre Kalulu is set to start again from the first minute in Milan vs Bologna. The French defender has partnered really well with Fikayo Tomori leaving captain Alessio Romagnoli on the bench. Davide Calabria will play on the right with Theo Hernandez completing the back four. Mike Maignan, as always, between the posts.

Pioli’s biggest doubt for Milan vs Bologna is the position of Franck Kessie. Once again the Italian coach seems oriented to advance Kessie in the attacking midfielder role. Thus, Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer will form the central duo in midfield.

Rafael Leao is untouchable on the left wing. Pioli wants a more attacking squad against Bologna so Junior Messias will start from the first minute. The two, together with Franck Kessie, will be in support of Olivier Giroud. Ibrahimovic has fully recovered but will have to wait for his chance in the second half.

AC MILAN Probable XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan, Calabria, Tomori, Kalulu, Theo Hernandez, Tonali, Benancer, Messias, Kessie, Leao, Giroud.

BOLOGNA Probable XI (3-4-3): Skorupski, Soumaoro, Medel, Theate, Hickey, Schouten, Svanberg, Dijks, Orsolini, Soriano, Arnautovic.
