AC Milan to challenge Borussia Dortmund for Spanish talent

AC Milan remain very attentive on young prospects that can immediately join the first team and Dinamo Zagreb starlet Dani Olmo fits the description.

Even though the January transfer window opens after three months AC Milan directors are already at work preparing for the next shopping campaign. The new leaders of the Rossoneri club are paying particular attention to young prospects that can become stars in the future.

The last name being linked with AC Milan is revealed by the Croatian press. Germanijak.hr reports that the Rossoneri have sent scouts to follow a promising talent that plays for Dinamo Zagreb. However, in this case, it is not to monitor a local raising star but rather a young footballer, precisely a 20 year old of Spanish origin with a past in the prestigious La Masia academy of Barcelona.

AC Milan are interested in 20 year old left winger Dani Olmo and Leonardo had sent scouts to watch him in last Saturday’s game between Nova Gorica and Dinamo Zagreb. The Rossoneri scouts must have been pleased because Olmo was author of the winning goal for Dinamo in the second half.

German giants of Borussia Dortmund are also keen on the Spaniard former Barcelona. Technical director Leonardo seems intrigued and has ordered his scouts-team to follow Dani Olmo even in the upcoming games.
