AC Milan interested in €25m rated midfielder

AC Milan sports director Massimiliano Mirabelli is considering a variety of options in midfield and Torino’s Daniele Baselli is one of them.

Tuttosport reports the latest on AC Milan’s market strategies. The Rossoneri are considering many options for the midfield starting from Real Madrid’s Dani Cabellos to free agent Marouane Fellaini but Mirabelli is also keeping a close eye to domestic talents.

The hesitation of the Belgium midfielder is forcing the sports director to focus on Daniele Baselli of Torino, a player who has been repeatedly linked with the Red and Blacks in recent years. The problem, however, is the price tag of the 26-year-old central midfielder.

Torino continue to resist and are not willing to sell the Italian for less than 25 million euros. A figure deemed to high for AC Milan who are in search of a more cheap alternative. Nevertheless the Rossoneri have informed Torino about their interest in the player in an attempt to signal that if they lower their demands to 15-20 million AC Milan would be ready to negotiate.
