Leonardo Bonucci predicts World Cup winner
From Canada Leonardo Bonucci offers his prediction on the winner of 2018 World Cup.
AC Milan captain Leonardo Bonucci was in Montreal in the company of Giorgio Chiellini and their families for the Canadian Grand Prix of Formula 1. In a short interview for La Gazzetta dello Sport, Leo avoided questions about football but offered his prediction on this summer’s World Cup winner:
“I do not read anything, because when I go on vacation I turn off all social media“. Only one reference to the World Cup: “What a pity not to be in Russia with Italy but I say that Argentina will win this time“.
In a sensational flop four time World Cup winners Italy failed to qualify for Russia. The Azzurri finished second in their group and were defeated by Sweden who will rightfully play in Russia.
