OFFICIAL – AC Milan fire Mirabelli

The new ownership of AC Milan has decided to fire Massimiliano Mirabelli. The Italian will no longer serve as sporting director of the Rossoneri.

Since Elliot took control of AC Milan club a cleansing campaign was expected to follow. The American fund never appreciated the work of the Italian duo Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli. After announcing the sacking of Fassone a few days ago, today’s was Mirabelli’s day.

The first details of this morning’s meeting between Paolo Scaroni, new president of the Rossoneri, and Massimiliano Mirabelli have emerged. According to what Milan News has learned, the AC Milan sporting director has been relieved of his duties.

The new management decided to sack Mirabelli after failed attempts to mutually terminate his contract. Leonardo will join the management structure of the club soon while the search for a new sporting director continues.
