AC Milan looking at €60m Man United striker

AC Milan are considering signing a new striker and Manchester United’s Anthony Martial is a January opportunity.

Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara will not have a big budget at their disposal for the January transfer window. Elliott Management has decided to spend only for the purchase of a new centre back so for other positions Maldini and Massara must be creative and likely rely on loans.

The situation in attack seems to be improving with Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic nearing their fully recover. The duo have often been adapted in the centre forward role in the absence of Ibrahimovic, Giroud and Pellegri. The three strikers have rarely been all available so the management is considering the signing of a new forward.

One of the January opportunities is going to be Manchester United striker Anthony Martial. The 26-year-old Frenchman is looking to change club after falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford. Manchester United new coach Ralf Rangnick confirmed that Martial has asked to leave when the transfer window opens.

We spoke at length. Martial explained to me he’s been at Manchester United now for the last seven years and he feels it’s the right time for a change, to go somewhere else. I think in a way this is understandable“, said Rangnick.

The France international has made only 10 appearances with the Red Devils so far, often starting from the bench. In 2015 MAnchester United spent a record fee of 60 million euros to purchase Martial from Monaco. The French striker has a contract with the Premier League giants until 2024.
