AC Milan receive 55 million offer for Andre Silva

The Andre Silva paradox. Despite his underwhelming performance of the pitch the Portuguese striker has many followers around the world ready to break the bank for him.

A strange case that of the Portuguese striker, who is flopping at Milan and remains too often on the bench. His agent Jorge Mendes, who eased his transfer to the Rossoneri given the good relations with Fassone and Mirabelli, is not happy either and is observing his situation with concern, with the real risk of devaluation for his player.

As reported by Calciomercato.com in January Mendes himself presented at Casa Milan a very attractive offer for Andre Silva. An unspecified Chinese club had put 40 million euros on the table plus 15 in bonuses for the striker. A proposal that could have helped the Rossoneri coffers, with AC Milan making a nice profit from his sale. But the club’s January policy was clear and consistent: the gems that have arrived in the summer market will not leave the club, hoping to re-launch them and put them in a comfortable position to do well till the end of the season.

Therefore Andre Silva, despite being considered a flop at the moment the club hopes to regenerate him in the coming weeks. The trial against Ludogorets on Thursday did not offer much hopes, so much so that in the summer, if an offer similar to the Chinese one were to arrive, the red and blacks would be more than willing to let the Portuguese go.
