Gattuso: “We performed the right way”

What a win. AC Milan gave another fantastic display and completed another clean sheet in Rome, winning their fifth match in a row and sixth in their last seven Serie A games.

Following the 0-2 win at the Olimpico against the Giallorossi, coach Rino Gattuso addressed the media. Once again the coach seemed pleased with the team’s improvements but prompts his boy to “keep the feet on the ground”.

I was angry at the end of the first half, we moved badly. We like to bring many men into the area, this is why we work so hard on moving without the ball. I like to focus on the defence. Today’s match wasn’t an easy one, but we performed the right way. I’m happy about this. I have congratulated the boys but we must remain with our feet on the ground. From tomorrow attentions turn to Lazio and then from Thursday we’ll focus on the derby. Important matches are waiting for us, we must put up a good fight

Patrick Cutrone: Great team victory against Roma

Patrick Cutrone is certainly among the protagonists of AC Milan’s important victory against Roma at Stadio Olimpico. The young Rossoneri striker, at the end of the match, celebrated on Instagram the success and for the goal scored.

Davide Calabria scores his first career goal

It will not be an easy match to forget for young right back Davide Calabria. The Rossonero number 2 has found his first goal with the AC Milan shirt. The young Italian defender doubled the result against AS Roma and crowned an achievement of constant personal growth this season. AC Milan continue this new year unbeaten while Andrea Conti will have to sweat a lot for a starter place when he returns.
