AC Milan show interest in Lyon star
AC Milan have expressed interest in Lyon star Nabil Fekir. The attacking midfielder is available for around 40 million euros.
MILAN TRNANSFER NEWS – The summer transfer window is nearing an interesting phase. After completing the management staff, and appointing the new coach, the Rossoneri have accelerated talks with several targets. Now AC Milan have inquired about Nabil Fekir.
France Football reveals that AC Milan have expressed their interest in the 26-year-old Lyon star. For years Fekir has been one of the best players in the French league.
Fekir was very close to joining Liverpool last summer for a fee of €70 million euros. A transfer was practically completed but Liverpool withdrew after the French talented suffered an injury. The English club are believed to be out of the race now.
Fast forward one year and Fekir is available for half the price. His contract with Lyon expires in 2020 and so far the parties haven’t agreed to renew. If Lyon don’t sell their most prized asset soon they risk losing him for free next year.
The attacking midfielder scored 12 goals and assisted 9 in 39 appearances with Lyon this season. Nabil Fekir has been a constant performer for the last 6 seasons and looks ready for a new challenge at a top level club.
