Marca: Theo Hernandez impressed by AC Milan

AC Milan are very close to signing Theo Hernandez with the Real Madrid left-back impressed by the Rossoneri’s ambitious project.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – Theo Hernandez is AC Milan’s number one target for the left-back role. The Rossoneri have decided to sell Strinic and Diego Laxalt while the permanence of Ricardo Rodriguez is also in doubt. The Swiss full-back doesn’t convince fully but he is consistent.

Even if Rodriguez stays, Milan want Hernandez to be the second left-back in the squad. The 21-year-old French defender is not among coach Zinedine Zidane’s choices and Real Madrid will sell him this summer.

The former Atletico Madrid player has many options on his table and the luxury of choosing. Marca confirms that Hernandez will leave and Real Madrid are open to sell and won’t mind even loan proposals.

Bayer Leverkusen was the first team to show interest in Theo (brother of Lucas who just joined Bayern Munich) but the meeting with Paolo Maldini in Ibiza changed something in the mind of the French left-back.

Marca reports that Hernandez was impressed by the Rossoneri legend, whio, in addition to illustrating AC Milan’s ambitious project, guaranteed the young defender a starring role at San Siro. Bayer can offer him the Champions and Napoli have made a late bid, however, Theo Hernandez seems much closely to AC Milan.
