Arsenal target Andre Silva if Aubameyang bid fails

Arsenal are ready to push through a move for Borussia Dortmund’s striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but if negotiations fail Wenger has identified Andre Silva as the alternative.

New rumors regarding the future of Andre Silva coming from England. According to the Daily Express, in the event that Arsenal would not close a deal for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, coach Arsene Wenger would point straight to the Portuguese talent of Casa Milan. The Rossoneri, however, do not want to deprive themselves of the 22 year old centre forward.

Arsenal have bid 60 million euros for Aubameyang but Borussia Dortmund criticized the English club insisting that the Gabonese will stay in Germany till the end of the season. Andre Silva remains plan B of Wenger and despite AC Milan being reluctant to sell, an offer of 50-60 million euros would be tempting especially considering the probable lack of Champions League football (and funds) for next season.
