AS: Spanish club closes the signing of Andre Silva

The arrival of Gonzalo Higuain means that Andre Silva should find a new destination. The Portuguese is about to move to Spain at Sevilla.

Andre Silva could leave AC Milan after a disappointing first season and move to Seville. AS reports that the transfer of the Portuguese ace to Spain is practically closed with both clubs currently discussing the last details of the agreement.

The Portuguese striker should join the Andalusian club on loan for one season. It is not specified whether it is loan-only or with the right/obligation to buy, but the first option seems the most probable. According to the Spanish paper there would be a total agreement between the parties and the player could fly to Sevills in the coming days.

The Spanish club was also interested in signing Nikola Kalinic, then later moved to Atletico Madrid, and now relies on the former talented of Porto. The 22-year-old AC Milan striker is closed by Gonzalo Higuain and Patrick Cutrone, so he could use more playtime elsewhere. A loan transfer would allow him to gather more minutes and improve. Coach Machin has indicated Andre Silva as the ideal profile for his project and the management wants to satisfy him.
