Calabria and Milan reach agreement to renew contract

One of the most promising players of AC Milan like Davide Calabria is about to extend his contract with the rossoneri until 2022.

Although the team results are not the ones hoped for, AC Milan’s leadership continues to work for the future offering long term contracts to the most important players with a guaranteed future ahead.

After the already formalized renewals of certain elements such as Donnarumma and Suso, CEO Marco Fassone is ready to improve the current contract of another young talent. Davide Calabria seems to have found an agreement with Milan to commit his future in San Siro for many years to come. The 21 year old full back, who is currently out due to a muscular injury, will renew until June 2022. A year and a half ago Calabria put pen to paper to a new contract with the Rossoneri club by signing an extension until 2019, but now the new ownership does not want to let the young right back escape by extending his contract even further.

Calabria therefore, as reported by Corriere dello Sport, will sign a five-year with figures far superior to the current ones. An important move that confirms the Rossoneri’s project to focus not only on international talents, but also on those who came out of Milanello’s youth sector, which remains one of the richest and most impressive talent factories ever in Italian football.
