CorSera: 15 midfielders in last years

AC Milan are a team that have changed a lot in recent years and especially in midfield. Something that has not helped the team get positive results.

Il Corriere della Sera on newsstands this morning talks about wrong purchases made by Italian teams. The Serie A standing champions Juventus, for example, in the last two and a half championships have alternated 13 midfielders of which almost half were sold. AC Milan, on the other hand have used 15 of them, while those cut were nine.

An interesting statistic demonstrating the lack of quality midfielders at AC Milan in recent years. Furthermore, this season, Giacomo Bonaventura is the only regularly deployed midfielder of last season with new signings Lucas Biglia and Franck Kessie occupying the two remaining spots. Troubling the absence of continuity in the midfield department that was translated in underwhelming results on the pitch.
