For sale: AC Milan name Kessie price tag

The fight with Lucas Biglia could have marked the end of Franck Kessie’s career at AC Milan with the club willing to listen to offers.

The furious clash during the Milan-Inter derby between Franck Kessie and Lucas Biglia caused a lot of noise and has given a very bad image to the Rossoneri team. AC Milan lost the match but coach Gattuso called this incident the real defeat.

The two players would immediately apologize for what happened but AC Milan doesn’t tolerate this type of behavior. The club decided to take action and fined both midfielders in a salty way. In particular, Kessie was forced to pay an even greater penalty (5% percent of his yearly salary), for not accepting the substitution with Conti and for triggering the dispute.

According to reports by Tuttomercatoweb, Kessie is dissatisfied with the decision to severely punish him, even more than his teammate Biglia. A difficult situation for Franck, who managed to go from an untouchable of AC Milan’s starting eleven to an element with a very uncertain future, especially because of his recent aggressive attitude.

Hence, the possibility of him no longer playing for Milan has suddenly increased. There are several European clubs ready to knock on the Rossoneri’s door.  Arsenal are the most interested team in Kessie but also PSG and Tottenham appreciate the physical and technical qualities of the 22-year-old. AC Milan could sacrifice Kessie this summer if someone presents an offer of 40 million euros. This figure would allow the Rossoneri to make a capital gain of around 12 million considering the 28 million spent to buy him from Atalanta two years ago.

The tense relationship between Franck Kessie and Milan in the coming months may worsen if the central midfielder doesn’t change attitude fast. It’s up to him to convince Milan, coach Gattuso and the fans to change their mind.
