Gazzetta: AC Milan to sell three defenders

A considerable number of players are expected to leave AC Milan this summer and according to La Gazzetta three defenders are guaranteed to be sold.

It’s a hot period of numerous transfer moves and the Rossoneri are reviewing many signings and sales. Massimiliano Mirabelli and Marco Fassone have promised to Gattuso the arrival of at least three important players but first AC Milan needs to make some free space.

According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, three defenders are set to leave AC Milan this summer. The first is right back Ignazio Abate. With Davide Calabria author of an excellent season and Andrea Conti expected to fully recover for next seasons, the 31 year old, a client of agent Mino Raiola, is deemed surplus to requirements. He will probably move to USA and continue his career with an MLS clubs.

Gustavo Gomez and Luca Antonelli are sure to depart too. The first has many requests in Argentina with Boca Juniors ready to make a fresh attempt while the second could remain in Italy to play for another Serie A club. Instead Mateo Musacchio seems destined to remain at San Siro especially if Rino continues forward with his plans (read here) to change game system for next season.
