Gds: AC Milan have scheduled a meeting with Sassuolo for €70m duo

AC Milan have scheduled a meeting with Sassuolo to discuss about the potential transfers of Gianluca Scamacca with Domenico Berardi.

The narrow win against Cagliari puts the Rossoneri in a comfortable position for the Scudetto race. At the same time, the management is working to improve squad for next season. AC Milan need reinforcements in attack and Gianluca Scamacca with Domenico Berardi are high on their list of targets.

The Sassuolo duo have attracted a lot of interest with their performances this season. Gianluca Scamacca is in advanced talks to extend his contract for one more year but he may still leave this summer. AC Milan and Inter are closely monitoring his situation.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan have scheduled a meeting with Sassuolo after the international break. The two clubs are set to discuss the future of both Gianluca Scamacca and Domenico Berardi. The Rossoneri want to understand what is the exact asking price of Sassuolo for both players.

AC Milan have already informed Sassuolo they will participate in a bidding war. Scamacca is reportedly valued at 40 million euros. A very high asking price for the 23-year-old centre forward who has 13 league goals so far. The Italian has said he would refer to continue his career in Serie A.

The situation is much more optimistic for Domenico Berardi. The Italy international has a gentlemen’s agreement with Sassuolo to leave this summer for a fee of €30 million. Berardi is Stefano Pioli’s top choice for the right winger. The Rossoneri coach believes that Berardi would be the perfect right winger for his 4-2-3-1 formation.
