CorSera: The winning move by Gattuso

A dramatic display yesterday at Marassi against Genoa. AC Milan secure three precious points and continue to shorten the distance with Inter and Lazio.

When a disappointing goalless draw seemed inevitable at Marassi, Andre Silva showed up to meet Suso’s cross and give the Rossoneri a very valuable win with a great header in the last second of the match, it was his first goal in Serie A.

According to Corriere della Sera, Gattuso’s winning move last night against Genoa was certainly the transition from a line up with a single striker to a new formation with two centre forwards. This tactical change gave more weight to the Rossoneri’s attack and also ignited Suso, who in the last 15 minutes of the match illustrated some interesting ideas and offered the precious assist for Andre Silva.
