AC Milan star offered to Barcelona

With his contract set to expire in one year, Mino Raiola has offered Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to Barcelona.

The future of Gianluigi Donnarumma is anything but written. In the next months we could witness the departure of Gigio after five years at San Siro. The contract of the Italian goalkeeper expires on 30 June 2021 and, if the parties fail to agree an extension, the number 99 will be sold.

Dealing with Mino Raiola is certainly not easy but Donnarumma’s will could play a decisive role. The infamous agent has repeatedly expressed his doubts on AC Milan’s project and it’s obvious Raiola will push Gigio to leave Milan.

In recent weeks the Rossoneri goalkeeper has been linked with Psg, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Juventus. All these clubs, for different reasons, are in search of a new goalkeeper and his agent is on the move.

According to reports from Spain, Mino Raiola has offered Gianluigi Donnarumma also to Barcelona. Don Balon writes that Barcelona so far have been unable to renew ter Stegen’s contract and are looking around for alternatives. Ter Stegen wants to become Barcelona’s highest earner after Messi, a request that the Blaugrana are unable to match.

Donnarumma has always demonstrated to be a true Rossonero but the 21-year-old goalkeeper is also ambitious and wants to win trophies. Gigio’s renewal will be the first important challenge for Gazidis because losing Milan’s best player would be a signal weakness.
