Journalist: Inter midfielder is the perfect player for AC Milan

Journalist Daniele Adani advises AC Milan to sign Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi who is considered perfect for Pioli’s game.

The AC Milan midfield is set for an overhaul at the end of the season. Franck Kessie will leave as a free agent while Yacine Adli and Tommaso Pobega will return to the base. However, the Rossoneri should sign at least another central midfielder during the summer transfer window.

Renato Sanches has been tipped as the successor of Franck Kessie but journalist Daniele Adani thinks that AC Milan’s priority should be an elegant midfielder rather than a powerful box-to-box. The former Inter defender and now journalist advises AC Milan to go for Stefano Sensi.

For me the perfect player for AC Milan is the one that Inter has loaned to Sampdoria. Inter have allowed themselves to let go of Stefano Sensi. The player will return at the end of the season but how much will Inter work on Sensi? In my opinion, Milan can go and get Sensi. He goes well with Stefano Pioli’s idea of football.

The 26-year-old central midfielder did really well during his time at Inter but a series of injuries prevented him from becoming a key player for the Nerazzurri. Sensi is gifted with noted vision, good technique, and an eye for goal. He often acts as a deep-lying playmaker in front of the back-line, due to his ball control, range of distribution, and long passing ability with both feet in spite of being naturally right-footed, which allows him to create chances for teammates.

This is not the first time the Italian midfielder has been linked to the Rossoneri. Stefano Sensi was very close to joining AC Milan in 2019 but Sassuolo increased their asking price to €35 million at the very last moment. The Rossoneri signed Ismael Bennacer instead.
