Higuain says Yes to AC Milan, mega deal closed

AC Milan have practically closed the signing of both Higuain and Caldara. The Argentine striker accepted the Rossoneri’s offer yesterday and a deal is about to be concluded shortly.

After days and days of negotiations, the mega deal between AC Milan and Juventus seems to be just one step away from closing. Yesterday, in fact, there was a decisive acceleration and also the last piece, that is the agreement between Milan and Gonzalo Higuain, is one step away from being settled. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports this morning that Higuain’s brother-agent first met the Bianconeri and then later in the evening he was at Casa Milan to talk with Leonardo, a discussion that lasted 4 hours.

FIGURES AND FORMULA – A deal is practically closed and the Argentine is about to become a new Rossoneri player. These are the figures of the operation: 18 million euros for his loan with the right to make the move permanent at the end of the season for 36 million . El Pipita did not seem very convinced of the loan initially, but then it was explained to him that this formula was chosen to allow Milan to avoid scrutiny from UEFA regarding the Financial Fair Play. It is also clear that, after paying 18 million for the loan, his purchase will basically be a mere formality.

EQUAL EXCHANGE – AC Milan and Juventus have reached an agreement on everything, that only thing missing so far was the definitive yes of Higuain to the Rossoneri to close this mega deal that will also bring Mattia Caldara to Milanello, whith Leonardo Bonucci set to return to Turin. The two defenders, valued both at 40 million euros, will be exchanged at par. In short, the agreement could be announced in the coming hours. Leonardo starts his new Milan adventure with a big bang.
