Milan vs Sassuolo, probable lineups

AC Milan vs Sassuolo will mark the Rossoneri’s 120 years of history but a win is needed to celebrate this anniversary appropriately.

Tomorrow, AC Milan will celebrate its 120 years of history but first the Rossoneri must play a very important match against Sassuolo. Considering the recent encounters between Milan and Sassuolo it’s certain that De Zerbi’s side will not arrive at the San Siro to watch all the legendary players that will be there at the stadium.

Celebrations aside, Stefano Pioli’s squad has the obligation to find the third consecutive success, after the winning performances against Parma and Bologna. Still AC Milan must be careful against a struggling but always dangerous Sassuolo squad with Domenico Berardi always eager to face the Rossoneri.

Gianluigi Donnarumma will be in the goal. In front of him there is no doubt about the four defenders. Andrea Conti and Theo Hernandez will play on the flanks (the Frenchman must be careful because if he gets one yellow card he’ll be forced to skip the match against Atalanta). Mateo Musacchio and Alessio Romagnoli complete the back line.

The only doubt for coach Stefano Pioli in midfield was the choice between Franck Kessie and Rade Krunic. However, the Ivorian midfielder will start in Milan vs Sassuolo from the first minute. Ismael Bennacer and Giacomo Bonaventura take the remaining two spots with Lucas Paqueta set to accommodate on the bench.

Once again Pioli will confirm his usual trio in attack with Hakan Calhanoglu and Jesus Suso in support of Krzysztof Piatek. Despite the Polish striker scoring only on penalties recently, Rafael Leao has been unable to convince Pioli and earn a spot in the starting eleven for Milan vs Sassuolo.

AC MILAN (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Conti, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Kessie , Bennacer, Bonaventura; Suso, Piatek, Calhanoglu.

SASSUOLO (4-2-3-1): Pegolo, Toljan, Marlon, Romagna, Kyriakopoulos, Magnanelli, Locatelli, Berardi, Djuricic, Boga, Caputo.
