MN: Chelsea star could be Elliott’s Champions League gift

With Champions League practically secured, AC Milan are planning to spend big this summer for a new cente forward.

The triumph against Juventus at Torino was a demonstration of power from AC Milan. The Rossoneri thrashed Juventus 3-0 and have practically secured a place in the Champions League next season. At the same time the management is back at work planning the mercato for the upcoming summer window.

The big priority of AC Milan will be the signing of a new centre forward. A top level striker that can eventually replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Paolo Maldini has a long list of transfer targets and Chelsea striker Abraham is the latest name on his book.

MilanNews.it reports that Tammy Abraham could be the Champions League gift of Elliott Management for the Rossoneri. Only a place in the top four would allow AC Milan to make significant investments this summer. Chelsea are open to sell their striker and are reportedly asking 40 million euros for his services.

Abraham is not happy with the lack of game time at Chelsea and is looking for a new club. Despite being used scarcely this season the 23-year-old is the Blues’ top scorer with 12 goals and 6 assists so far. The English centre forward boosts a great average of one goal every 128 minutes.

At the end of the season, Milan and Chelsea clubs will sit down to discuss the permanent transfer of Fikayo Tomori and Abraham will also be part of the talks. Tammy was very close to joining the Rossoneri in 2019 but Maldini preferred Piatek instead.
