Morata accepts Milan transfer but first…

AC Milan have received a valuable yes from Alvaro Morata. The Spanish striker remains Mirabelli’s top target for the summer.

Yesterday, Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli were in London to try to snatch Alvaro Morata from Chelsea, obtaining – reports Sportitalia – the availability of the former Juventus to a transfer to AC Milan. First, however, the club must complete the sale of Nikola Kalinic. The Rossoneri have closed everything with Atletico Madrid but Red and Blacks can’t sanction a move before Saturday’s Board of Directors meeting.

Carlos Bacca, another unwanted striker, is expected to resolve his future soon while one between Leonardo Bonucci and Suso could also depart. For now the Rossoneri can count on the good will of the 25 year old Spaniard striker but AC Milan must move quickly to avoid competition from other clubs.

That fact that the two Rossoneri leaders were in London to meet with Morata’s representatives indicates that the club will be able to move in a concrete way, also from an economic point of view, very soon. Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain remains a valid alternative, but for the moment the first name on Mirabelli’s list is that of Morata .
