Amid Milan links Conte reveals his future

Former Juventus and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte reveals his plans for the future and when he will coach again.

Along with Zinedine Zidane, Antonio Conte is the most in demand coach currently without a contract. Many teams are after the Italian former Chelsea with rumors linking him with some of Europe’s most important clubs.

Since he left Chelsea, Conte has been in contact with several teams in need of a new coach. The former midfielder has finally resolved his contractual problems with the London side and is now ready for a new project. There have been talks about a possible move to Spain at Real Madrid or even a return in Italy at AC Milan.

Calciomercato.com interviewed Conte, present at the ceremony of the 2018 Golden Bench held today in Coverciano. The coach outlined his professional future: “If I see myself at an important team in the future? To date, I see myself at home. I’m getting updated at the moment, watching a few games and following some of my colleagues. Future in Italy? Never say never. I am Italian, I feel good here and I would like to work here, without excluding of course the overseas option”.

Difficult, almost impossible, to see Antonio Conte back on the bench during the current season, given that the Italian would like to pick up a project only from next summer: “For the type of coach I am, I preferred and prefer to wait for June to find a new job. Then perhaps in 2-3 months the desire to coach again returns and I deny what I’m saying now… “.
