Official: AC Milan vs Genoa postponed

The Serie A opener between AC Milan and Genoa has been postponed following the tragic bridge collapse where 39 people lost their lives.

The Rossoneri’s Serie A debut game against Genoa has been postponed, together with Sampdoria vs Fiorentina, the Lega Serie A has just announced. It is also possible that all of matchday 1 games be postponed but it has not been confirmed yet.

AC Milan vs Genoa was scheduled to be played this Sunday, on 20:30 at San Siro. It would have marked also the debut of many new arrivals at Milanello this summer with Higuain and Bakayoko expected to start from the first minute.

The recovery dates of the two games will be announced in the next few days in compliance with the regulations in force. Perhaps this way, coach Gattuso will have more time to integrate better many of his new signings.
