Real Madrid name Mateo Kovacic price-tag
AC Milan continue their search for a new central midfielder and Real Madrid’s Mateo Kovacic is one of the names being considered by Leonardo.
Only two weeks remain till the end of the summer transfer window and AC Milan technical director Leonardo is doing an intensive work to bring in a new central midfielder. Coach Gennaro Gattuso recently admitted that the team is 90% complete and, considering Bernard’s upcoming arrival, one midfielder is all that the squad is missing.
Several names have been linked with the Rossoneri recently starting from Mateo Kovacic, Adrien Rabiot, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Diadie Samassekou and even Lazio’s star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Precisely the Croatian 24 year old midfielder is pushing for a move away from Spain, eager to play more and would gladly accept to return to Italy.
According to Il Giornale, Real Madrid are not so willing to sell and are demanding a fee of 55 million euros for his services. Although Leonardo appreciates the qualities of the Croatian he has no intention to pay such a high figure for a player who has never been a regular starter at Madrid.
