Repubblica: Higuain at Milan for Bonucci and 20 million

Leonardo continues his attempts to bring at AC Milan the best striker of Serie A in recent seasons but the negotiation could have changed slightly.

According to reports by La Repubblica this morning Mattia Caldara seems destined to join Chelsea for 45 million euros. The Italian youngster is a key piece in the mega deal between Juventus and AC Milan.

However this should not mean that negotiations between the two Italian clubs will fail. At the end Leonardo Bonucci should return to Juventus in exchange for Gonzalo Higuain. In addition, the Rossoneri will also pay a fee of 20 million euros.

The initial discussion was to make a head-to-head exchange between Bonucci and Caldara while the Argentine striker would have joined AC Milan on loan with the right/obligation to buy at the end of the season.
