Napoli vs Milan, probable lineups

Serie A leaders AC Milan face Napoli without the help of coach Pioli. Rebic returns in the starting eleven after a long time out.

AC Milan travel to Napoli on Sunday for the main even of Serie A week. Neither coach Stefano Pioli or his assistant Giacomo Murelli will be present for Napoli vs Milan. Instead it will be former player Daniele Bonera to guide the squad against Gennaro Gattuso’s side.

Napoli are not without their problems with Hysaj, Ospina, Osimhen and Rrhamani likely to miss the match against Milan. Despite the absence of Pioli, the Rossoneri’s starting eleven is not expected to have changes.

Captain Alessio Romagnoli has fully recovered and will start from the first minute alongside Simon Kjaer. Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez complete the back four with Gigio Donnarumma on goal.

As usual, Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer will form the damn in midfield. Hakan Calhanoglu, who has been at the center of controversies recently, will play behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

There is one big doubt concerning the name of the left winger. Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic were fighting to start from the first minute. However, the Portuguese striker suffered an injury in the national team and will miss Napoli vs Milan. The Croatian on the other hand has gained full fitness and is ready to play after a long period out. Alexis Saelemaekers will play on the opposite flank reports Gazzetta dello Sport.
