Sky: Alvaro Morata regrets not joining Milan last summer

AC Milan remain in search of a top striker and Alvaro Morata is one of the targets. The striker wished he had acted differently last summer when a move was on the table.

For the past year Massimiliano Mirabelli is doing everything in his power to bring Alvaro Morata at AC Milan. The Rossoneri had practically closed a deal last summer but in the last moments Real Madrid increased his price tag and the Spanish striker decided to join Chelsea instead. A move that the 25 year old deeply regrets now.

According to Sky Sport, last year Morata wanted to play for Juve in case he made Serie A return. But wished he had acted differently when his saw his former teammate and close friend Leonardo Bonucci join the San Siro hierarchy from Juventus.

However Morata is still a top target of AC Milan. There have been continuous talks between Mirabelli and Morata’s agent in recent weeks and perhaps this time the 25 year old makes the right choice. Chelsea are open to negotiations and value the player at 60-70 million euros.
