Sky: Higuain returns to Italy to meet with Leonardo, here is AC Milan’s plan

AC Milan are about to close everything with Juventus for the double signing of Mattia Caldara and Gonzalo Higuain with Bonucci moving on the other side.

Important market updates provided by Manuele Baiocchini of Sky Sport 24. According to the Italian journalist, the exchange between Leonardo Bonucci and Mattia Caldara has been concluded for some days now but the negotiations can not be closed due to Juventus’ desire to include Higuain in the operation. The striker has become a salary problem after the purchase of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Argentine 30 year old, reports Sky, will arrive in Italy today with his agent brother, and his return to Italy is a fundamental step for the Rossoneri’s negotiation because AC Milan will try to convince Higuain right away.

The idea would be to make him the symbol of the new Milan, through flattery and special attention, and a new 4 year contract, longer than the current one at Juventus. Crucial, therefore, the head-to-head meeting between the player and Leonardo, with Milan and Juventus optimistic about the success of the operation, despite interest form Chelsea.
