Atletico Madrid want AC Milan midfielder

AC Milan are trying to sell Nikola Kalinic to Atletico Madrid but at the same time the Spanish giants are considering a bid for one of the Rossoneri midfielders.

The Rossoneri and Atletico Madrid are currently in discussions for Nikola Kalinic, both clubs have reached an agreement on the total value of the Croatian (around 20 million) but while Milan want the transfer to be loan with the obligation to buy (to avoid another Bacca case) the Spanish giants want only the right to buy. Contacts continue and now Atletico have inquired about another Rossoneri player.

Diego Simeone is following Franck Kessie reports Calciomercato.com. Through its Italian sporting director Andrea Berta, Atletico Madrid inquired about the availability of the 21 year old central midfielder. The Red and Blacks replied that Frenck is an essential element for coach Gattuso and only a big offer could convince the club to sell.

The goal of Elliot remains the same of the old ownership: to rely and develop young players like Franck Kessie. The Ivorian was unstoppable last year playing a total of 54 games in his first season at San Siro and scored 5 times. He was signed last summer from Atalanta for a fee of 28 million euros and will not leave for anything less than 40 million.
