Strict rules: Milan and the relationship with agents & players

Since the Chinese ownership took over at AC Milan, Fassone and Mirabelli have dictated a strict set of rules on how to operate on the exit market.

Il Corriere dello Sport today explains that at Casa Milan there are now very precise and decisive lines of thought and conduct that are discouraging any clubs interested in some outgoing players. Among the names on the market are the various Gabriel Paletta, Gustavo Gomez and Jose Mauri for example.

All agents and players are treated the same way. Agents are rewarded with a commission that does not exceed 5%. And there are no other bonuses for them. No settlement or any other kind of facilitation will be offered to players who intend to leave AC Milan. No one will be undersold, even if he is not part of the coach’s technical-tactical project.

Massimiliano Mirabelli and Marco Fassone have dictated strict rules, risking to clash with many agents and intermediaries, as well as some clubs and players. But the two leaders of AC Milan believe that this is the best way to protect the interests of the Rossoneri club and limit the ‘favors’ to other subjects. Walking tall and no compromise, as already stated in the summer.
