Suso, last minute offer from Chelsea: release clause expires at midnight

Sportmediaset offers that latest update regarding the future of Suso in the Rossoneri jersey. The Spanish 24 year old is one of the most wanted AC Milan players on the market with Napoli, Liverpool, Chelsea, Inter and three Spanish clubs interested in his services.

The right winger has a 38 million euros release clause (too low for today’s market) that apparently expires today (at midnight) reports Sportmediaset. That was precisely the main topic of discussion between his agent Alessandro Lucci and AC Milan sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli in a meeting of a few days ago that lasted 4 hours.

After announcing Maurizio Sarri as their new coach, Chelsea are reportedly considering a bid for the Spaniard before the end of the day. Suso was a long-time target of Sarri since his Napoli days. The Italian technician sees Suso as the perfect replacement for star Eden Hazard who could join Real Madrid.

Despite the many rumors surrounding his future the Spanish ace himself has always refused to comments links with other clubs with coach Gennaro Gattuso insisting that the player is happy at San Siro and has never expressed a desire to leave.
