Venezia vs Milan, probable lineups

AC Milan will face Venezia today at 12:30 CET. Stefano Pioli will make three change to starting eleven that defeated Roma.

There will be no rest for the Rossoneri who travel to Venezia immediately after the San Siro triumph against Roma. Even for Venezia vs Milan, Stefano Pioli will not have at his disposal Castillejo, Tatarusanu, Calabria, Tomori and Romagnoli.

The Italian coach will deploy nearly the same starting eleven that defeated Roma but with three changes. With no other options, Pierre Kalulu and Matteo Gabbia will form the central duo in defence. Theo Hernandez and Alessandro Florenzi complete the back line with Mike Maignan between the posts.

Sandro Tonali is undisputed in midfield. The Italian maestro offered a towering performance against Roma and must guide his squad again for Venezia vs Milan. This time Timoue Bakayoko will be his partner with the Frenchman in advantage over Rade Krunic.

Rafael Leao has fully recovered after a muscle injury. The Portuguese will start from the first minute against Venezia with Brahim Diaz by his side. Junior Messias is in fine form this season but Piolli seems oriented to confirm Alexis Saelemaekers on the right wing. The Brazilian must wait for his chance in the second half.

Another important change will be that of the centre forward. Olivier Giroud lead the attack against Roma but with Venezia it will Ibrahimovic’s time. Zlatan is looking to redeem himself after penalty he missed in the final moments of the last match.

AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Maignan, Theo Hernandez, Kalulu, Gabbia, Florenzi, Tonali, Bakayoko, Saelemaekers, Diaz, Leao, Ibrahimovic.

VENEZIA (4-3-3): Romero, Mazzocchi, Svoboda, Ceccaroni, Haps, Cuisance, Ampadu, Busio, Aramu, Henry, Okereke,
