AC Milan improve offer for Gonzalo Higuain

AC Milan and Juventus are about to close a sensational players swap that in addition will also bring Gonzalo Higuain to San Siro.

Even before he was officially appointed new technical director of AC Milan, Leonardo was already working underground to strengthen the squad and offer coach Gattuo a top striker. For a couple of days the Brazilian is in intense contact with Juventus regarding e mega deal involving Leo Bonucci, Mattia Caldara and Gonzalo Higuain.

And now the Rossoneri received a huge assist from Chelsea. The English side confirmed that the Argentine is not a target with coach Maurizio Sarri declaring: “Higuain? I’m waiting to see the real Morata“. The London club will rely on the talented Spaniard to guide the attack for next season. A choice that leaves the Rossoneri as the only option for the 30 year old striker.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, negotiations between Milan and Juve have progressed well. The parties seem to have agreed a load deal of 20 million euros with the obligation to buy at the end of the season for 35 million. Now Leonardo is negotiating with the player and has raised AC Milan’s offer proposing Higuain a four-year contract of 7 million euros per season. The intention of all parties is to close everything this week.
