Juventus challenge Milan for two transfer targets

Just like in the past the AC Milan management must be very careful from Juventus competition for some of their transfer targets next summer.

We are still in September and to talk about the January transfer market is bit out of place. However transfer negotiations never stop despite the time of the year and AC Milan are one of the most active teams in this period.

The Rossoneri are moving underground. One of the priorities of Leonardo is the signing of a new central midfield, a weak spot in Gennaro Gattuso’s squad. The player who would help Milan make the definitive leap in quality is missing. It is certainly not the January window that is ideal for an important purchase. Nonetheless Leonardo is already moving ahead for next summer. Club and coach all agree on Nicolo Barella but Aaron Ramsey, free agent next summer, is more than a suggestion.

In the first five games this season, Barella has already proven to have excellent qualities and maturity beyond his age. And he also showed it against Milan, in the recent challenge at the Sardinia Arena against Cagliari. The problem, however, is that the Sardinian club has slapped a 40 million euros price-tag on the 21 year old talent who in the meantime is being monitored by many other clubs.

Among these, in addition to the usual Juventus and Inter, there would also be Borussia Dortmund. According to what reported by Sportmediaset, the German giants have been in Italy recently to closely observe the Italian talent, increasingly at the center of the transfer market.

As for Ramsey, even here the situation is not easy. Sportmediaset reveals that on the tracks of the Welsh international there would also be Juventus, masters of the free agent signings. The 27 year old Arsenal star is determined to leave the Emirates stadium after 10 years in London. The renewal is not excluded but AC Milan are counting on the help of Ivan Gazidis, former executive of Arsenal.
