Pirlo: “Which is better between Milan and Juventus?”

Legendary midfielder Pirlo returns to talk about his past experiences at AC Milan and Juventus giving his thoughts which team is better.

Andrea Pirlo, was interviewed just minutes ago by Sky Sport 24 and talked about his own experiences between AC Milan and Juventus: “I have spent 10 great years at Milan and 4 wonderful years at Juventus, two very strong teams where I found myself well, periods lived in two different and fantastic moments of my life. There is no team better than the other, the two clubs are equivalent.

The midfield maestro joined the rossoneri in 2001 from Inter for a considerable fee of 17 million euros. Under Carlo Ancelotti’s tenure he turned into one of the best central midfielders in football history winning two times the Serie A title and two times the Champions League trophy in one of the most glorious eras in the rossoneri history.

In 2011 Pirlo joined Juventus in a clamorous move after AC Milan declined to renew his contract. What a mistake from Galliani. At the time Buffon would declare: “When Andrea told me that he was joining us, the first thing I thought was: “God exists”. A player of his level and ability, not to mention that he was free, I think it was the signing of the century!” In his 4 years at Juventus he won 4 Scudetto’s and lost one Champions League final against Barcelona.
