Now that the January transfer window is officially opened here are the biggest stars AC Milan can sign for free but can join in the summer.
Gary Cahill | CB | Chelsea
The recently retired England international is no longer considered first-choice at Chelsea. His contract with the Blues expires this summer and Cahill is sure to depart Stamford Bridge after 8 glorious years where he won every possible trophy.
The 32 year old centre back is an attractive alternative considering his vast experience. Chelsea recently offered Cahill to AC Milan in an attempt to lure Suso in London but their proposal was immediately rejected by technical director Leonardo. The Spanish winger is not for sale.
So far, Turkish giants, Galatasaray are the most interested clubs in his services. Gary Cahill has yet to make his first minute debut this year in Premier League as coach Maurizio Sarri prefers other options in defense.
