Now that the January transfer window is officially opened here are the biggest stars AC Milan can sign for free but can join in the summer.

The undisputed leader of Manchester City has been a constant top performer since his transfer to England 10 years ago. His contract expires next summer and it is not yet clear if the Premier League champions will offer him the renewal.
In the last three seasons the Belgium international has battled with numerous physical problems. There are rumors that he may even retire and the at of the season to take a managerial job at City.
However this season seems to have started on the right foot for the 32 year old and he is hopeful of continuing to play at the top level for a little while yet. Whether that will be at Man City or elsewhere remains to be seen.
