Now that the January transfer window is officially opened here are the biggest stars AC Milan can sign for free but can join in the summer.

The Atletico Madrid captain has fallen out of favor with the Spanish club and is destined to leave Madrid in the summer for free. He rejected an offer from Manchester United in 2018 because he was supposed to renew with Atletico but things didn’t work out.
Now one of the best centre backs in the world can be signed for free. An excellent occasion that many clubs are trying to take advantage of it.
AC Milan had contacted the player in December and were reportedly very close to securing his signature but club CEO Ivan Gazidis did not approve this transfer because of his age (32) and also because the defence of Milan is the last department that needs improvements. The club currently has other priorities.
