AC Milan reach striker agreement

AC Milan are very close to acquiring the services of Luis Muriel. The Sevilla striker should join on loan with the right to buy.

An extra solution for the attack. From Spain, the rumors of a negotiation between AC Milan and Sevilla have become ever more solid and concrete. Luis Muriel will very likely be the striker to complete AC Milan’s attacking department.

The Colombian is finding little space under the orders of Mr. Pablo Machin with just 740 minutes played between La Liga and cups. However, despite the few minutes, Luis Muriel has scored 4 goals and has provided 4 assists. The 27 year old centre forward that can also play as right winger wants more game time and this situation has convinced him to return to Serie A, a league that he knows well.

According to Tuttosport, the Rossoneri have already reached an agreement with the Colombian who should return in Serie A after a year and a half in Spain. AC Milan and Sevilla want to close a deal soon but one point remains to be solved. The parties are discussing whether Muriel’s transfer to AC Milan should be with the option or obligation to buy at the end of the season for 13 million euros. Leonardo is insisting on loan only (0,5 million) and then re-evaluate the situation in the summer.

According to reports from Spain, Luis Muriel is the main force pushing for this transfer and has refused an offer from Fiorentina. The Colombian, therefore, has already chosen his next destination, sure of being able to earn his confirmation in the remaining part of the season.
